Evelyn E. LeRoy, 87, Cortland, died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Mrs. LeRoy and her husband owned and operated LeRoy Radio and Television Service, Cortland, from 1947 to 1985. She had lived in Cortland for 71 years.
Born April 4, 1920, in Altmar, daughter of Hollis and Naomi MacDonald Ellis, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1936 and attended Cortland Normal School for two years.
She married Harold J. LeRoy on Nov. 8, 1938. He died Dec. 30, 2005.
Surviving are two sons and their wives, David LeRoy and Nancy Kauhl, Harrisburg, Pa., and Paul and Sue, Manlius; a brother, John Ellis, Homer, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A brother, Willard Ellis, died in 2003.
The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
