Notes - Lois L. Schouten, 75, Pineville, formerly of Pulaski, died Sunday in Oswego Hospital. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Catherine Salisbury, assistant pastor at Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Northern Oswego Ambulance Corp. Surviving are her husband, Whitney E.; three sons, Raymond A., El Paso, Texas, David J., Parish, and John A., Athens, Ala.; six grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Tryon, Pulaski, and Glenn Tryon, Constantia, and a sister, Ethel Veley, Ellisburg. Born Sandy Creek on Aug. 21, 1916, a daughter of Herman and Christine Harris Tryon, she married Whitney E. Schouten on May 21, 1938.
