      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday August 12, 1937 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Mrs Effie Briggs Dead At Daysville - Had Spent Her Whole Life In Daysville; Sick Only Short Time - Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Briggs, 68, lifelong resident of Daysville were conducted from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Coe Worden last Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Robert C. Dunn, pastor of Grace Episcopal Church. Mrs. Briggs who is the widow of Charles Briggs was married 39 years ago. She died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Dyke near Mexico Saturday night after a few days illness. She leaves no immediate relatives. Burial was made in Willis Cemetery.
