      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 18, 1911 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - The community was surprised, yesterday morning, when it was made known that Charles C. Stoddard, one of the oldest men of the village, had died the night before. Mr. Stoddard had been in poor health for some time but turned much worse last Thursday. Mr. Stoddard was born in this town but went west when twenty-five. He came back here fifteen years ago. He has conducted a harness shop most of that time. He would have been eighty years of age next January. He has enjoyed the esteem of the community for his upright character and life. He leaves a wife, also one sister and two granddaughters who live in the west. The funeral will be held tomorrow at two o'clock from the home in Broad Street.
