- E. MORGAN JONES
E. Morgan Jones, 66, retired farmer, and justice of the peace in the town of Richland for the past three years, died suddenly of heart disease at his home in Park street, Pulaski, Friday night, February 27, 1931.
Born in the town of Mexico, he was the only child of Milo and Sarah Worth Jones. As a young man he was foreman in the Minetto Shadecloth factory at Minetto, later moving to Pulaski to take up farming. He retired about 12 years ago.
Mr. Jones was a member of Pulaski Lodge 415, F. and A.M.; Pulaski Chapter 279, Royal Arch Masons, and the Shrine. He was a vestryman for St. James' Episcopal Church many years. His widow is the only survivor. Funeral services were held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. Ray Avociton officiating. Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.
