- Fay W. Whitney, 63, of 201 County Route 48, died Sunday in Oswego Hospital.
Miss Whitney was employed by Ames Department Store and by Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School, Parish, as a custodian for 13 years.
She was a member of the Parish Volunteer Fire Department, the Parish American Legion, Russell Horning Post 601, and the Amboy Republican Lodge 650.
Born April 9, 1939, in Syracuse, daughter of DeEstin D. and Carro Lum Whitney, she graduated from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School in 1958. She served in the Navy and the Army National Guard, Syracuse.
Surviving are her father of Altmar, a brother, Bud D. Whitney, Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Pineville Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
