Arietta B. Sanderson Young, 73, of 9171 Caughdenoy Road, Brewerton,died Tuesday at University Hospital.
She was born in Mexico. She was a homemaker and had worked at Nestle and Sealright, both in Fulton. She was a member of North Mexico United Methodist Church and Silver Crest Rebekah Lodge 229, Mexico.
Her first husband, George Burr, died in 1961.
Survivors: Her husband, George Young; three daughters, Marlene Dunn of Liverpool, Anne Quinn of Texas and Shirley Nassoiy of Oswego; three sons, Allan Burr of Colorado, George Burr Jr. of Maine and Ronald Burr of Texas; a sister, Elizabeth Mackey of Rome; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Harter Funeral Home. Burial, New Haven Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, , 9 Washington Ave., Mexico.
