    • Newspaper Obituary - June 19, 1997 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - ALBERT F. ALLEN SR. - Albert F. Allen Sr., 81, of 116 N. Fifth St. died Tuesday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Allen was born in Skaneateles and lived in Fulton most of his life. He was a member of State Street United Methodist Church. He retired after more than 20 years as a foreman for the city of Fulton's sanitation department. Mr. Allen was an Army veteran and life member of Fulton VFW Post 569. He also was a former member of the American Legion. Surviving are seven sons, Albert J. Jr. of Massena, Frederick H., Frank M., John T., James W. and Timothy L., all of Fulton, and Russell E. of Hannibal; a daughter, Cora J. Pagliaroli of Fulton; a brother, Harry of Phoenix; 26 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Young & Son Funeral Home. Burial is in Mount Adnah Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 322 Oneida St.
