- According to the obituary: William E Soule, 90 a native of this town and numberedamong the oldest residence of Oswego, Co, died at 2:30 Thursdaymorning at his home in the village of Lacona....born 30 Jan 1834at Dansville, five miles west of Pulaski, where he passed hisyoung days in farming. He went west when a young man and formany years was located at Cherry Grove, MN. He returned toOswego county about 14 years ago (abt 1910) and made his home inthe eastern section of the county. Serving about 10 years onthe high seas with a revenue cutter he later sailed the GreatLakes for 16 years
