    • ALLEN - Post-Standard, The (Syracuse, NY) - March 25, 2014 - Russell E. Allen, Sr. - March 22, 2014 - Russell E. Allen, Sr., 59, of New Haven, formerly of Fulton, NY, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at home after a long battle with cancer. Russell spent most of his life doing road construction for local and state companies. Russell spent all of his free time hanging with family and friends doing what he loved most, playing guitar. Russell is survived by his fiancee, Holly Skinner, New Haven; her six children, Tim, Chris, Bobbi, Kenny, Isiah, Bridgett; and Russell's four children, Dione M. Allen, Donna J. (Dennis) Allen Cooper, Cato, Russell E. (fiancee, Shannon) Allen II, Fulton, Jason P. (Melissa) Allen, Canastota; eight grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; one brother, John (Vie) Allen, Florida; several nieces and nephews. Russell is now with his granddaughter, Hadley Mae Allen, daughter to Jason and Melissa Allen, they will always be in our memories and hearts, forever loved. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY. Calling hours will be from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
