Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 3, 1952 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Tuesday in Syracuse for Dorothy Nutting, 3 - Dorothy Ann Nutting, 3 '12 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nutting, died of pneumonia at her home at 715 Oswego street, Syracuse, early Sunday morning. Funeral services were held from the Callahan & Hanley funeral home in Syracuse Tuesday with the Rev. Albert Baner officiating. Interment was made in the Richland cemetery. Surviving besides her parents, are three sisters, Janet, Jeanne and Judy and two brothers, Raymond and Jackie, all at home. Dorothy Ann was born in Syracuse, October 19, 1948, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Riley Nutting, former residents of Richland.

Dorothy Riley Nutting, 71, Syracuse, formerly of Richland, died Tuesday at Castle Rest Nursing Home, Syracuse.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool, with the Rev. Dr. Milton T. Jefferson officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond C., LaFargeville, and Retired Sgt. 1.C. John E. Nutting, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Janet Nolan, Syracuse, Jeanne Chapman, Pennellville, and Judy Pierce, North Syracuse; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anstress Pennock and Rena Cobb, both of Pulaski, and Helen Wing, Richland, and several nieces and nephews.
Born at Fairfield, Va., on May 15, 1917, a daughter of Charles J. and Jessie L. Tolley Riley, she was a 1934 graduate of Pulaski Academy.
She married Raymond L. Nutting of Sandy Creek on Dec. 27, 1935, at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage, Mexico, with the Rev. Harold H. Barnard officiating.
Mrs. Nutting was employed as a clerk at the E.T. Wilson store, Richland, at the time of her marriage.
She was a member of the Liverpool First United Methodist Church and a former member of the First Methodist Church of Syracuse. She was also a member of the Keeney Circle of the Syracuse First Methodist Church, the Syracuse Women's Bowling Association and the Syracuse Turner's Ladies' Auxiliary.
Mr. Nutting, a long-time salesman for the Ward Baking Co., died July 13, 1977.
