- Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, April 3, 2005 Watertown Daily Times - William H. Tilkins, 36, Woodpecker Lane, died of cancer Saturday at his home. Mr. Tilkins was a carpenter for area contractors for many years and was a member of Mannsville-Manor Volunteer Fire Department. Born May 20, 1968, in Watertown, son of Richard E. and Nancy Lloyd Tilkins, he attended Pulaski schools. He served in the Army National Guard from 1989 to 1994 and had lived in Ellisburg before moving in 1999 to Mannsville. He married Angel Taylor on Feb. 24, 2004. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Timothy and Paul Hines, both of Mannsville; a stepdaughter, Alicia Yerdon, Sandy Creek; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and William Reynolds, Richland; two brothers, Rodney A., Richland, and Richard E., Pulaski; two stepbrothers, David Reynolds, Pompey, and William Reynolds Jr., Richland, and a stepsister, Renea Sacco, Volney. His father died April 18, 1988. A sister, Karen L. Tilkins, died Nov. 16, 1990. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial. A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
William attended Pulaski Schools and enlisted in the Army National Guard, serving from 1989-1994. He returned home and settled in Mannsville, NY from where he worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Mannsville Fire Department.
