Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 31, 1946 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Alice Riley Dies at Richland - Mrs. Alice T. Riley, 68, died early Sunday morning at her home in Richland after an illness of about two years. She was the widow of J. C. Riley, whom she married in 1942. Born in Bell's Valley, Virginia, April 11, 1878, daughter of William and Esther Coffinan Tolley, she was a resident of Richland for the last 15 years. She was a member of the Richland Methodist church and the W. S. C. S. of that church. Surviving besides her husband are seven step children, Mrs. William Cobb, Mrs. William DeShane and Mrs. Harold Wing, Richland, Mrs. Harold Pennock and Mrs. Raymond Nutting, Syracuse, Mrs. Archie Horton, Blackstone, Virginia, and Elmer Riley, Richland. Funeral services were held at her home at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Howard Woodman. Burial was in Richland cemetery.
