- Newspaper Obituary - June 28, 1982 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. Carolyn L. Peters, 51, of 7420 Salma Street, Pulaski, died Monday, June 21 at the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown. Born to George and Julia Britain McLoughlin, she graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central Schools. She lived in Femwood most of her life. She married Carl N. Peters on September 17, 1950 and in 1960 they moved to Pulaski, where she assisted her husband for a number of years in the operation of Peters Appliance Store. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and the Pulaski Service Club and a former active member of the women's bowling league. Surviving are her husband; four sons, James Carl, John William, Joseph Nelson and Jeffrey George, all of Pulaski; her mother, Mrs. Julia McLoughlin of Texas, New York; two sisters, Miss Janet Oschowski and Mrs. Sally Blunt, both of Texas, New York; a brother, William McLoughlin of Texas, New York; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Stanley E. Skinner, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Femwood.
