Notes - Newspaper Obituary - October 19, 2011 Watertown Daily Times - GLADYS WOOLSON - Gladys Woolson, age 80, life resident of Orwell, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Gladys was born July 17, 1931 in Orwell, the daughter of Delbert and Marie Palmteer Olin. Gladys married Rex A. Woolson on September 10, 1948, he died March, 9, 2003. Surviving, one son, Steven A. (Joan) Woolson of Orwell, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Gladys is predeceased by one son, David R. Woolson who died October 13, 2004, one grandson, Nathan Woolson, who died May 26, 1996, and one sister Daisy Rayo who died in January 2011. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY with Pastor Thomas Howell officiating, burial in Evergreen Cemetery Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Orwell Fire Department, PO Box 192, Orwell, NY 13426.
