      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, May 8, 1974 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - John Schroeder Dies in Syracuse - Services for John H. Schroeder, 83, of Orwell, who died Saturday, May 4, 1974, at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Born July 20, 1890 in Germany, Mr. Schroeder settled in Illinois before moving to Richland in 1912. He was a farmer and self-employed carpenter. Surviving are two sons, Richard J. of Mapleview and John H. of Orwell; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Genevieve) Draper of Chittenango; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William, of Rochester, Minnesota. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery.
