- Albert S. Miller, 64, of 9164 Maple Ave., died Monday at his home after a lengthy illness.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Lorraine Zimmerman, pastor of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Lacona Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Carleen "Carla"; four daughters, Cindy Duffany, Lake City, Fla., Dayrene Anderson, Lakeland, Fla., Peggy Miller, Henderson, and Krista Richter, King George, Va.; six sons, Robert, Lantana, Fla., Ronnie, Tallahassee, Fla., Ray, Florida, Gerald, Pulaski, and Jay and John, both of Lacona; several grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Lillian) Salley, Mexico; three brothers, Ralph, Mannsville, and Everette and Herb, both of Sandy Creek, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A sister, Naomi Donahue, and two brothers, Robert and Howard Miller, died before him.
Born March 13, 1929, in the town of Sandy Creek, son of the late Julian and Beulah Claflin Miller.
