- Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 7, 1987 Banner Times - Pulaski, New York - Services for Mary E. Bielewicz, 54, of Canning Factory Road, Pulaski, who died Saturday, August 29, 1987 at Mercy Hospital, Watertown, were at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, Pulaski, and 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. Burial was in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours were 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 7643 Jefferson Street. The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was bom March 19, 1933 in Richland to Lewis E. and Florence Brown Tilkins and attended local schools. On January 27, 1951, she married Edward Bielewicz in Rome, living in Richland all her life. She was employed at Maple Manor Rest Home, retiring in March. Surviving are her husband, Edward; three sons, Donald of Richland, John of Fort Hood, Texas, and Michael of Pulaski; two daughters, Susan Mowers of Richland and Lori Alfano of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren; four brothers, John Tilkins of Syracuse, Richard of Richland, Ronald of Baltimore, Maryland, and Robert of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Eileen Skotnicki of Richland, Bonita Salisbury of Pulaski and Norma Wilson of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews.
