- Newspaper Obituary - July 26, 1989 The Tribune Press - Gouverneur, New York - Grant O. Wilson - Pulaski-The funeral for Grant O. Wilson, 67, of 7839 Richland Road, was Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor at Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery, Richland. Surviving besides his wife are five sons, Stephen G., Terry R., Paul R., all of Pulaski, Thomas J., Burlington, Vt., Scott R., St. Augustine, Fla.; two daughters, Gail E. Vance and Linda C. Jones, both of Pulaski; two sisters, Arvilla Lord, Hammond, and Kathleen Fleming., Edwards, and 13 grandchildren. A son, Robert G. Wilson, died in November 1966 in Vietnam. He was born Jan 24, 1922 in Huevelton, a son of George and Bessie Hill Wilson. He attended Copenhagen District Schools. Mr. Wilson served in the Army in the European theator from 1943 to 1945. He married Norma B. Tilkins on Feb. 10, 1946. He was a self-employed contractor for 15 years, and lived in Pulaski since his retirement in 1953. Mr. Wilson was a member of Pulaski Veteran's of Foreign War.
Newspaper Obituary - July 23, 1989 Watertown Daily Times - GRANT O. WILSON, FORMER CONTRACTOR, DIES - Grant O. Wilson, 67, of 7839 Richland Road, retired contractor and husband of Norma B. Wilson, died Friday afternoon at Potsdam Hospital, where he had been a patient since Wednesday. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor at Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery, Richland. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
