  Gary G. Swanson, 66, a nearly life-long resident of Chelan, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Lake Chelan Community Hospital of natural causes. He was born on Nov. 15, 1945, at Wenatchee, the oldest son of Glenn and Ruby (Knowles) Swanson. After school days, he was employed at Wagner's Lumber Mill at Twisp for 10 years. Gary made friends easily and had a good sense of humor. His passions were Dodge Ram Trucks (the bigger the better) and he enjoyed singing, going to rodeos and enjoying bull riding the most. Gary loved visiting with people and his best friend was Darrall Zumwalt. They enjoyed many years of friendship and fellowship. Survivors include a brother, Dennis Swanson of Wenatchee; two sisters: Judy Swanson of Chelan; and Gloria Swanson of Wenatchee; and many nieces and a nephew. A graveside service will take place Saturday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at Fraternal Cemetery
