He was a restaurant owner and owned and operated Rainbow Shores Hotel for 22 years. He worked for 24 years at General Electric Co. in Syracuse and also owned J.R. Halstead in Phoenix. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Pulaski and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union in Syracuse.
Survivors: His wife of 41 years, the former Linda Cheney; two daughters, Lucinda Bulluck of Lacona and Lori A. Halstead of Sandy Creek; a son, Gregory J. of Rochester; a sister, Mary Anne Hammond of Pulaski; five grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial, Pulaski Cemetery.
