Sandra O. Helbock, 80 of Mexico, NY passed away Saturday evening at St Luke’s in Oswego.
Sandra was born January 5, 1942 in Rome, NY to Clarence and Essie (Sturtevant) Sparks. She married
Donald Helbock January 5, 1961, he passed in May of this year. She was a homemaker and babysitter for
many children over the years. She and Donald enjoyed going to camp in the Adirondacks.
Surviving are her children Becky McLaughlin and Rolon Helbock, 3 grandchildren Brian Crawford, John
McLaughlin, Alicia Helbock and 2 great grandchildren Michael Crawford, Matthew Crawford, two sisters
Sharon Hooper and Pricilla (Susan)Sparks and a brother Timothy (Susan) Sparks.
Calling Hours will be Thursday October 20 th from 12-2pm with the funeral to follow at 2pm at
Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial will be at Boylston Sandy Creek Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her honor to the Mexico Volunteer Fire Dept.
