    • Mrs. Reda Scott Stebbins. 80 of Hollister St. Meridian, NY died Thursday, April 21, 1983 at Auburn Memorial Hospital after an illness of several years.

      A native of Oswego Mrs Stebbins had lived in Meridian since 1947. She was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and the Ladies Aid Society. She also was a former member of the Lysander Grange. Mrs Stebbins worked many years for the General Electric Co in Syracuse. Her first husband Harold Scott died in 1959.

      She is survived by her husband. Neil E Stebbins 3 sons, Clarence Scott of Dearborne. Mich; Robert Scott of Meridian and Frederick Scott of Sterling 5 daughters. Mrs. Emil (Mary) Zimmer of Lake Mary. Fla , Mrs. Russell Jewell F.H.(Janet) Whitford. Cato: Mrs. Robert (Norma) Broekhuizen of Plainville, Mrs. Nancy Gray of West Monroe and Mrs. William (Jean) Browning of Milford, Conn 2 sisters. Mrs. Clarabel Gilbert and Mrs. Freda Rill, both of Phoenix, 25 grandchildren. 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services for Mrs. Stebbins will be 11 a.m. Monday April 25, 1983 at the Jewell Funeral Home. South St. Cato. with Rev. James Vredenburg officiating. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville. N.Y.
      Friends and relatives are invited to call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

      Those wishing may make contributions in honor of Mrs. Stebbins to the Cato Rescue or First Baptist Church of Meridian.
