- Edward D. Dillenbeck-Although he had been in failing health for two years, Edward D. Dillenbeck, 89, retired Syracuse painter, died unexpectedly of heart disease this morning at his home at Caughdenoy Junction on the North Syracuse-Cicero road. He had lived in Syracuse for to years before his retirement six years ago. Surviving are a son, Leroy Dillenbeck of Boston, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. Wesley Bowers, with whom he lived, and two grandchildren. After funeral services are conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home, burial will be in Pine Plains cemetery.
