    • "The Tomahawk," Wednesday, January 10, 1968 Mrs. Evelyn Chloe Robinson. . . «tab»Mrs. Evelyn Chloe Robinson, age 48, of Rt. 3, Doe Valley community, died in the Cannon Memorila[sic] Hospital, Banner Elk, N.C., Sunday at 6:30 a.m. after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Johnson County, daughter of the late James and Katherine Wright[sic] Garland. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. «tab»Survivors include: the husband, Allen Robinson, Mountain City; two sons: Homer, and Jimmy Robinson, both of Raingold[sic], Ga.; two daughters: Mrs. Burlia Robinson, West Grove, Pa., and Catherine Robinson, Mountain City; one step daughter: Mrs. Hilda Henson, Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers: Homer Garland, Tunnell Hill, Ga., Fred Garland, Rock Springs, Ga., and Chase Garland, Shady Valley; five sisters: Mrs. Ada Emmeritt, Sevierville, Mrs. Stella Morehouse, Georgia, Mrs. Ora Nelson, Barberton, Ohio, Mrs. Mamie Bishop, Shady Valley, Mrs. Trula Shoun, Mountain City; three grandchildren also survive. «tab»Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethany Baptist Church, with the Rev. Theodore Robinson and Rev. John Perkins officiating.
