      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, September 4, 1990 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Chauncey J. Smith, Pulaski, Dies At Age 89 - Chauncey J. Smith, 89, formerly of Spring Brook Apartments, died Saturday at the Harr-Wood Nursing Home, Oswego. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster-flax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., with the Rev. Richard A. Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, Town of Richland. Calling hours were scheduled from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Fern; four sons, Irving, Maple View, Douglass, Denver, Colorado, and Paul and Lynn, both of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Born in Parish, December 25, 1900, son of Lucian and Flora Manning Smith, he attended Parish schools and had lived in the Pulaski area 60 years. He was employed as a dairy farmer, cattle dealer and construction dealer for many years. He married Fern Mason December 30, 1922. Mr. Smith was a member of the Pulaski Wesleyan Church.
