Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, January 2, 2007 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Arlene Virginia Atkinson, 75, Sandy Pond, formerly of Pulaski, died Sunday at her home. Mrs. Atkinson was employed by Agway for 15 years and also by Dr. Harlow Dunton, Pulaski, Golden Fish Restaurant, Port Ontario, C&M Restaurant, Pulaski, and Holiday Corners, Sandy Pond. Born July 19, 1931, in Ellisburg, daughter of Andrew and Bertha Loomis Nash, she attended Belleville schools. She married Bradford D. Atkinson on September 1, 1954. He died August 29, 1994. Mrs. Atkinson resided in Pulaski for 42 years, moving to Sandy Pond in 1996. She was a life member of Sandy Pond Sportsmen's Club. Among her survivors are two daughters, Jane Shugdinis, West Pittston, Pennsylvania., and Lorrie Sperati, Pulaski; a son, Kenneth N., Parish; a sister, Loretta Drake, California; a brother, Marshall Nash, Henderson, and four grandchildren. A son, Timothy M., died April 5, 1969, at age 2. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
