      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, April 6, 1970 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - John Allport Dies At 75 ¬Pulaski - John A. Allport, 75, of Port Ontario RD 2, died Sunday at a Camden nursing home where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was born in Westfield and had resided in the Port Ontario-Selkirk area most of his life. He was a commercial fisherman by trade and for the past few years had operated Allport's Marina at Port Ontario. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Inez Allport; a son, Edward A. Allport; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Sherman of Mexico. Services will be at p.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
