Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 1, 1904 Syracuse Journal - Syracuse, New York - Death of Mr. Outterson - Pulaski, December 1 - William Peter Outterson, a well-known and highly respected resident of this village, passed away yesterday at the residence of Mrs. Martha Williams in Broad street, where the deceased, with Mrs. Outterson, had made his home for several months. Mr. Outterson was born in Connecticut about 63 years ago and came to Pulaski with his parents when a young boy. At one time he was engaged in manufacturing paper and continued in that business many years, retiring from active pursuits about five years ago on account of feeble health. In his younger days Mr. Outterson was prominent in Republican politics, but was never an office seeker. He was a member of Marcellus Lodge, F. A. M. Besides the widow, he leaves two sons, John A. Outterson of Binghamton and Edward L. Outterson of Malone. Four brothers and four sisters survive. They are Col. James A. Outterson and Andrew Outterson of Watertown, Frank E. Outterson of Carthage and Charles A. Outterson of Holyoke, Massachusetts, Mrs. Isabella Lane of Watertown, Mrs. Elizabeth Wallis of Pulaski, Mrs. Caroline S. Nye of Syracuse and Mrs. Mary Radway of Boise, Idaho. The deceased had been in feeble health many years.
