      Obituary:Joseph E. Dupont, 82, of Williamstown, passed away Friday July 31, 2009, in University Hospital in Syracuse. He was born May 20, 1927, in Camden, the son of Edwin and Martha Drought Dupont. He was a graduate of Camden Central High School. Joseph was married to the former Lorna Jones, Julia Trumble, and Susan Allen, all of who predeceased him.

      Mr. Dupont was a self-employed carpenter in the Camden area for several years.

      He served his country in the US Army during World War II and the Korean War.

      Joseph is survived by nine daughters and five sons-in-law, Maryann and Richard Harrington, of Camden, Donna and Frank Trumble, of Williamstown, Betty and Arthur Smith, of Rome, Barbara and Michael Turk, of Camden, Joann and Steve Cronk, of Altmar, Cindy Vanderworken, of Camden, Julie Trumble, of Pulaski, Pauline Trumble, of Pulaski, and Karen Trumble, of Orwell; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce Dupont, of Tennessee, Myrul and Tami Bourgeois, of Camden, Kevin Trumble, of Pulaski, and Joseph Allen, of Camden; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sons, Joseph Trumble, David Trumble and Joseph Dupont.

      Services: Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the Hillside Cemetery in Camden. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden.
