      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, April 12, 1971 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Rex H. Runion, 71, of Salina Street, died Saturday at a Williamstown nursing home, where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was born at New Haven and had attended schools there. His wife was the late Mrs. Mildred Weideman Runion. Prior to retirement he was a carpenter for various construction firms. He was retired as a member of the Ringgold Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are a son, Warren Runion of Whitesboro, and a daughter, Mrs. Louise Obleman of North Syracuse; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Runion of Mexico and George Runion of Fulton. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
