      Dorothy R. Barber, 74, County Route 22, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.

      Mrs. Barber was employed by Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School as a bus driver and aide for 25 years.

      Born June 26, 1930, in the town of Albion, daughter of Hugh and Inez Allen Trumble, she was a life resident of Altmar and attended Altmar Union School.

      She married Allan L. Barber on Aug. 17, 1947. He died Oct. 29, 1993.

      Surviving are her companion, Clifton Pratt, Cicero; three daughters, Janet Chabot, Altmar, Donna Young, Ohio, and Joann Mason, Fulton; four sons, Thomas, North Carolina, David, Altmar, Larry, Richland, and Lonnie, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Martin Trumble, Florida, Lloyd Trumble, Williamstown, and Dale Trumble, Altmar; two sisters, Ethel Ponzo, Mattydale, and Eula Mason, Fulton, 30 grandchildren and 35 great- grandchildren.

      A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Riverside Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski.
