A paralytic stroke suffered last Monday from which he never recovered caused the death of Dell David Runion, 70, prominent Eddy District farmer on Thursday morning in his home. Mr Runion was born in Montague, Lewis county, on September 10, 1866, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Runion. He had been a resident of the town of Mexico for over 24 years coming here from New Haven. He was very active in Dairymen's League affairs and was well thought of by his many friends. His wife, Mrs. Cora Runion, survives him as well as three sons, Rex of Pulaski, Paul of Warners and George of Mexico, Two grandchildren, Miss Louise Runion and Warren Runion both of Pulaski and one sister, Miss Lizzie Rousam of West Martinsburg, also survive. Services were conducted Saturday the Rev. Harold H. Barnard of the Methodist church of
Mexico officiating. Burial was in New Haven cemetery.
