Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 25, 1984 Syracuse Herald Journal - Barbara L. Comins - Oswego - Barbara L. Comins, 59, of 7636 Pine Street, Pulaski, was pronounced dead on arrival at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse Wednesday afternoon. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1943. She was married to James E. Comins on Dec. 20, 1946, and lived in Pulaski since then. She was a member of the Robert Edwards Post 358 of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Luella Mouck; one son, Robert E. Comins and one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Langer; one brother; William Mouck; one sister, Mrs. Verda Sperati of Sandy Creek; and two grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, followed by burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway. Calling hours are Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Northern Oswego County Ambulance in Pulaski.

Barbara and Jim adopted 2 children: a daughter Sandra Marie Comins (born October 12, 1961 in Oswego, NY--married Thomas Langer of Pulaski on July 25, 1981. Sandra and Tom have Rachel Lynn (born November 26, 1983) and Thomas Matthew (born August 31, 1991).
A son: Robert Comins, born in Fulton on April 30, 1966 and married to Kathy Archibee on July 1, 1990.
