Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 7, 1931 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Death's Harvest - Levy C. Weidman, 73, died at his home in Salina street, Pulaski, late Saturday night after a long illness. Death resulted from a stroke, the second he had suffered this spring. Mr. Weidman was born at Parish, February 14, 1858, and for many years was engaged in farming in the town of Mexico. He was devoted to his home and to his family, which includes 11 grandchildren. His survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Gillett Weidman; one daughter, Mrs. Rex Runion, who with her family shares the Weidman home in Salina street; two sisters, one of Syracuse, and one of Granby; three sons, Ellery C., of Maine; Jesse F., of Michigan, and Leda, of Pulaski; and one brother, Grant, of Mexico, as well as the grandchildren, who include Miss Louise Runion and Warren R. Runion, of Pulaski. Private funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in Willis cemetery. Albert E. Lawrence officiated.
