Newspaper Obituary - Sunday March 29, 1992 Syracuse Herald American - Syracuse, New York - Evelyn C. Westfall, 87, formerly of Sarasota, Florida, died Friday at Oswego Hospital after a long illness. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, she has lived in Oswego since 1988. Mrs. Westfall was a graduate of Cornell University and Buffalo City Hospital, where she became a dietician. Her husband, Leon H. Westfall, died in 1988. Surviving are a daughter, Donna W. Harden of Rochester; a sister, Ruth C. Whitcomb of Fulton; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a time to announced at the First Presbyterian Church in Fulton. The Rev. Peter D. Schlichting will officiate.

A native of Worcester, Mass., Mrs. Westfall lived in Sarasota, Florida, before moving to Oswego in 1988. She was a graduate of Cornell University and Buffalo City Hospital, where she trained as a dietician. Her husband, Dr. Leon H., died in 1988. Surviving are a daughter, Donna W.
