- Newspaper Article - Wednesday, October 12, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Altmar - The remains of Philo Abbott were brought to this village from Blossvale, Monday afternoon, and buried in Altmar cemetery. Mr. Abbott, who was eighty-two years of age, was an old-time resident of our town and will be remembered by many of our people. The remains were accompanied by a number of relatives from his late home and were met at the station here by some twenty of his old friends and acquaintances, who accompanied them to the cemetery, where previous to interment, brief burial services were held. He leaves two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Dell Lacells, of Taberg, who tenderly cared for him through his sickness, Mrs. Eugene Austin, of this place, LeRoy Abbott, of Tacoma, Washington, Will Abbott, of Denver, Colorado, and John Abbott. of Alaska, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
