      Newspaper Article - Thursday, September 15, 1892 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Daysville - Ralph Herrick was in Oswego recently, being called there by the sickness and death of John Evans, a relative of his wife.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 5, 1936 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Ralph Herrick, 73, Dies At Home On Richland Road - Ralph Herrick, 73, well known and life-long resident of this town, died at his home about two miles east of Pulaski on the Richland road at 8:30 last Friday morning. Mr. Herrick was born in this town April 26, 1863, a son of Hiram J. and Jemima Sherman Herrick. He received his education in the schools of the town, was a charter member of Pulaski Grange, and a member of the Methodist church of this village. In 1886 he married Minnie Sairs, who died two years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Florence Hen-ick; two nieces, Miss Ruth Decatur, who had kept house for him the past four years, and Mrs. Enos Hill, all of Pulaski. The funeral was held at the home at two o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. W. A. Gardner officiating. Burial was in Willis cemetery. Friends and relatives attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. Frank Preeman of Mexico; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Salladin of Fruit Valley; Mr. J. John Evans of Fulton; Mr. Buckley and family of Oswego; Mr. and Mrs. Melford Leopold of Syracuse, and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Williams also of Syracuse.
