Newspaper Obituary - Saturday Evening, February 21, 1914 Oswego Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, February 21 - The death of Lydia Ann Ackley, widow of Irving L. Sherman, occurred Thursday night in the Women's and Children's Hospital, Syracuse, where she was taken for a surgical operation. Mrs. Sherman was born in Parish about seventy three years ago and had been a resident of this village for more than a half a century. Her husband died about two years ago. Surviving are a son, William Sherman of Pulaski; also two brothers, David Ackley and Frank Ackley, both of Parish, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Crandall and Mrs. Henry McLyman, both of Syracuse. Undertaker George W. Morton of this village brought the body here last night. Funeral services will be held from the family home in Salina street at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon.
