- Former Seamans Resident Dies
D. Winifred Walker, a former resident of the Seamans District, died at his home in North Scriba, June 12. Services were held June 15 at 2 p. m. at the Coes Funeral Home in Lycoming. The Rev. George Herrick officiated with interment in Willis Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Goldie Rupracht Walker; three sons, Velton C. Walker of Buffalo, Gerald F. Walker of Syracuse, Winifred F. Walker of Fulton and two daughters, Irene G. Coon of Oswego and Norma W. Randall of Pulaski; 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
