Newspaper Obituary - Friday, November 8, 1974 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico - Mrs. Ella Shumway, 55, of Lee Road, Town of New Haven, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, following a illness of several days. Surviving are her husband, Joseph C. Sr.; her mother, Mrs. Evelyn Curcie of Mexico; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Campbell of Sandy Creek, and Mrs. Sandra Bowers of Mexico; six sons, Joseph C. Jr., Paul, Gary and Russell, all of Mexico and Donald of Phoenix and Douglas of Parish; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Turot of Liverpool and Mrs. Nyra Nichols of Baldwinsville; two brothers, Robert and John Curcie, both of Mexico, a nd nine grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening.
