Reginald A. Pappa, 50, of Wheat Hill Drive, Lacona, was pronounced dead at 11:58 a.m. Thursday at Robert Packard Hospital, Sayre, Pa.
He was flown to the hospital by helicopter after being injured in a fall while working on a construction project at a shopping mall in Ithaca.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Raymond McVey, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, the former Kayrene J. Crast; two sons, Kirk, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Eric, Richland; four daughters, Cindy Wright, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Gina Slade, Mannsville, Kathy Pappa and Kelly Pappa, both of Richland; three stepdaughters, Caroline Farley, Crystal Farley and Margaret Farley, all of Lacona; a grandson; four brothers, Stu, Williamstown, Ray, Pineville, Jim, Camden, and Gary, Rock Stream; a sister, Shirley Agrippino, Canastota; and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Janice Comstock, died before her.
Born May 26, 1942, in Williamstown, a son of the late Wallace and Mildred Balcom Pappa, he attended schools in Pulaski and Sandy Creek.
He married Kayrene J. Crast on July 4, 1992.
Mr. Pappa was employed by VIP Structures, Syracuse, for the past four years and was previously employed by Mohawk Beverage Co. and Oswego County Distributing. He was a life resident of Lacona.
