Geer, New York Central agent at Pulaski, died Thursday evening at the home in South Jefferson street after a serious illness of less than a month. Mrs. Geer had not been in good health for some time but had not been seriously ill until she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage March 10. She had rallied from this and up to Tuesday of this week had appeared to be improving. Tuesday morning she suffered a recurrence from which she failed to rally. She was born in the town of Albion on July 3, 1888, daughter of the late Bion G. and Mrs. Grace A. Patterson, and spent her early years there. She was educated in Central High school, Syracuse, and Pulaski Academy, from which she graduated in 1906. She had taught in schools in the vicinity of Pulaski. She was married October 8, 1906 to Mr. Geer. They had made their home at Maple View, and Central Square up to nine years ago, when they came to Pulaski. She was an attendant of the Universalist church, Central Square. While her health permitted she had been very active in the Order of the Eastern Star and was past matron of the Elizabeth Caldwell Chapter, Central Square. She was also a Past District Deputy Grand Matron for Oswego county. Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by two sons, Irvah R. Geer of Norton, Virginia, who was called here when her illness became critical, and Francis B. Geer, Pulaski, and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at the family home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and burial will be in Willis cemetery.
