      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 3, 1925 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Frank J. Brown, 72, died hospital, Orwell, Saturday night, May 30. Mr. Brown was born in Osceola, Lewis country, and when a young child moved with his parents to Pineville where he received his early education in the district school in that place. He attended Pulaski academy, qualifying for teaching which profession he followed for several years. He then turned his attention to farming near the village of Richland and after retiring from that occupation, he moved his family into that village where he lived during the last thirty years of his life. Forty-four years ago he married Ella McClary. She died in 1919. He is survived by three sons, Arthur I., of Boston; Walter, Toledo, Ohio; and Oscar J. of Richland; and one daughter, Mrs. John Hartney of Watertown. The funeral was held from the Church of Christ, Richland, Tuesday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. E. J, Waterstripe officiating. The L O. O. F. ceremony was used at the grave. Mr. Brown had been a member of Spring Brook Lodge No. 646, Richland for several years and was a past grand of the organization. Burial in Spring Brook cemetery.
