- Martin Braley, age 65, life resident of Pulaski and Altmar, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Martin was born October 26, 1947 in Altmar, the son of Edward and Dorothy Neill Braley. He graduated from APW High School in 1965 and he served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968 receiving Army Commendation Letter, Combat Infantry Badge, and Good Conduct Medal. Martin married Linda Sampson Wood on October 26, 1996 and she passed away April 17, 2007. He was employed by Schoeller Technical Paper for 40 years, retiring in 2011. Martin was a member of the Pulaski American Legion Robert Edwards Post #358, and he was also an umpire for Pulaski Little League for many years.
Surviving, one daughter, Dawn Militi of West Monroe, two sons Scott (Michele) Braley of Sandy Creek and Stephen Braley of Florida, three stepsons, William (Tammy) Wood, Paul (Lisa) Wood and Joseph Wood all of Pulaski, two brothers, Everett Braley of Central Square and Edward Braley of Parish, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
