      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 16, 1977 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Ruby B. Brownell, 81, of Main Street, Parish, died November 6 at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, after a short illness. Mrs. Brownell was the widow of Frank M. Brownell. Funeral services were held November 9 at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home and at the Richland Church of Christ. Burial was in Richland Cemetery. Survivors are a son, Gerald H. Brownell, pastor of the Richland Church of Christ; one daughter, Carroll McElver, Parish; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. A son, Glen, of Sandy Creek, died March 16, 1976. Mrs. Brownell was born September 24, 1896, at Cornell, New York, the daughter of Willard and Ida (Wagner) Jincks. She attended Cornell schools and married Frank Brownell on July 17, 1914. He died on May 22, 1955. Mrs. Brownell was a member of the Richland Church of Christ, and had resided in Parish since 1964.
