      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 7, 1940 The Brookfield Courier - Brookfield, New York - Perley F. Yerdon, 60, who lived on a farm west of Brookfield, died August 5, 1940, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica, where he had been a patient for two days. He was born in Redfield, son of Moses and Rosina Caster Yerdon. He was a retired motorman of the New York State Railways, Utica. Surviving are his wife, Letta M. Yerdon; a son, Adelbert, Utica, and a son in Buffalo. The funeral was conducted from the Mumbulo Funeral Home with burial in Richland. The Rev. William D. Clough officiated.
