Harry W. Pfluger, 70, of Route 49 died Thursday at Veterans Administration Medical Center after a long illness.
A native of Plainfield, N.J., Mr. Pfluger lived in Constantia since 1968. He was owner of Double J Restaurant on Route 49.
A Coast Guard veteran of World War II, Mr. Pfluger was a life member of Trach-Auringer Post 7325, VFW, the Disabled American Veterans and the National L.S.T. Association.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ellen Archbold; three daughters, Ellen Mae Coon, Jane Button and Patricia Serley, all of Constantia; a brother, Robert of Seabrook Island, S.C.; three half-brothers, Allen of Whitney Point, George of Altmar and Charles of Sandy Pond; a half-sister, Pat Dunton of North Syracuse; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Constantia Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St.
Contributions may be made to the North Shore Ambulance Corps.
