      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 7, 2007 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Robert N. "Bob" Holbrook November 5, 2007 - Robert N. "Bob" Holbrook, age 88, of Pulaski, died Monday at the home of his daughter in Mexico where he resided since 2005. Born on January 31, 1919 in Otisco, he was the son of Arthur and Kathryn Stevens Holbrook. He resided in Pulaski from 1948 to 2005 spending winters in Arcadia, Florida from 1962 to 2005. He graduated from Tully High School in 1937 and married Aleta Allen on August 24, 1940. He was employed by Ironworkers Local 4160 in Syracuse retiring in 1982. He was also employed by GE and Oberdorfer's Foundry. He was a member of the Otisco Methodist Church and Sandy Pond Sportsman Association. Bob was an avid fisherman, golfer and hunter. Surviving: his wife, Aleta A.; one son, John A. (Joann) Holbrook of Pulaski; two daughters, Madelaine (Wendell) Rowell of Arcadia, Florida and Pulaski, Linda (Glenn) Burdick of Mexico; 11 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 10 at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the funeral service. Donations can be made to Oswego County Hospice, Box 102, Oswego, New York 13126.
