- Alice was baptized in St. Mary's Church in Florence on February 21, 1915. Her Godparents were Willard Adams and Josephine Hughes. Alice was very young when her Mother died, and she was taken in by her Paternal Aunt Mae Adams Daily who lived in Camden, New York. Alice attended school in the Village of Camden, and it was there she met her husband to be, Ike Yerdon of Redfield.
Ike and Alice set up housekeeping on Co. Rt. 17 in North Redfield. As Ike was a logger work was often seasonal and times were often very difficult. Many of their children went off to work early for friends or kin in the area.
Following Ike's death in 1994 Alice began to winter in Pulaski. In 1998 she moved into Springbrook Apartments where she lived on and off for three years. In 2002 she moved to Watertown were she resided at Samaritan Keep Home until her death in 2004.
Alice was a great fan of Country Music and loved to go to dances. She also always followed Democratic Politics. Her birth record in Osceola was cited, there it spells her middle name as "Illeen"
